Dr. Melissa Geraghty, Psy.D. is a Licensed Clinical Health Psychologist and Dr. Geraghty has received recognition for her clinical excellence and patient advocacy as a Keynote and International Speaker. She inspires others with her resilience and grit as a chronic pain and rare disease patient.

Dr. Geraghty brings a diverse background, with experience working as a clinician in Outpatient, Inpatient, PHP, IOP, Residential, and Hospital Settings. In her work she has developed a solid reputation as a compassionate, humorous, and unconditionally accepting advocate of her patients.

Dr. Geraghty is a past Inaugural Board Member for The Coalition for Headache and Migraine Patients (CHAMP) (2020-2023) and is a past Board Member for The National Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders (ANAD) (2018-2021). She is an Ambassador for the U.S. Pain Foundation, an Advocate for Chronic Migraine Awareness, and a Mental Health Advisor for CHAMP.

Though she is no longer accepting new patients, she remains a passionate advocate for individuals with chronic pain globally. Now based in Washington DC, she works as a government psychologist.
